Overview

The lecture draws on my experience with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and the London National Park City campaign. It outlines the importance of urban ecology, and the need to integrate with global biodiversity processes. It highlights some of the main challenges in managing urban spaces for nature before presenting some possible solutions.
